Scientifically designed by Bikram Choudhury, founder of the Worlwide Yoga College, this 90-minute program is performed in a heated room. Visit their website for more information about the classes and the rates. The Cambridge studio is in Harvard Square, but they also have a Boston branch in Boston in the Leather District.

Easily the most luxurious hotel in the Square, “The Charles” doesn't come cheap. Standard rates hover in the $200s during the mid-season and hit the high $500s during Commencement (reservations open the Monday following the previous Commencement and often sell out in days). The friendly, unpretentious service has welcomed guests from the Dalai Lama to Avril Lavigne. Giant pillows and comfy quilts ensure a good night's beauty sleep; other amenities include Bose wave radios, 2-line phones, mini-bars, and 24hr room service. Don't forget to ask for a partial river view for no extra charge. Guests also have access to the Wellbridge health club and indoor pool. Three restaurants—Rialto, Legal Seafoods, and Henrietta's Table—cater to the Cantabrigian elite, while The Regattabar and Noir keep them friendly and tipsy.
